Ferrari was the Keystone cops of F1 for almost 2 decades but don't discount what Todt, Brawn, Byrne, Tombazis, Costa et al brought to the team. It really was a perfect storm of talent that descended on Maranello. The F399 in '99 was a pretty special car and along with the F2000 was the height of high nose design. Good enough that after Michael's accident Eddie Irvine was damn near the WDC and would have tied Mika on points had Michael not raced in Japan. (Mika still would have won by having one more victory)
Michael was one of if not the best developmental drivers in the age of unlimited testing and arguably the best technical driver ever with Prost a close second.

Agreed but I think his most amazing drive was coming in second in the '94 Spanish GP stuck in 5th gear for most of the race. Damon beat him by a good margin and admittedly had some help from crashes and mech failures in front of him but still amazing. The fact he made two pit stops and got away in 5th without stalling the car alone was a miracle.

Lewis being closeted is basically an open secret in F1.
There is plenty of speculation that his only goal left in F1 is to beat the Schumacher record for most WDC’s. Then he will retire, come out and embark on the hip hop/fashion career he has been hinting at for years now.

After watching Shumacher and doing additional reading, because I admit I wasn't as familiar with all of his story, there is no way that Hamilton can be considered the greatest over him.
Hamilton was placed into the best car on the grid and maintained, whereas Shumacher built from the ground up with Ferrari. Not to mention his two championships with a sub-par team before making the move.

I'm with you there. He had a sort of entitled attitude when he was new. It's like dude, you just got here. You may be the second coming, but shut up and chill until that's proven. Now he seems to be walking the walk while being quieter on his talk, relatively speaking.
