I ran across this board and read for a while without an account. Tigerdroppings on the whole is very good for one stop updates on breaking news.

I created an account in the wake of some of the BS in the ESPN article about Sean Miller to respond with some of the more factual things. I'm primarily an Arizona basketball fan and post elsewhere on boards centered on Arizona basketball.

I like other pro teams, so I've hung around for that. The Health/Fitness board is one I enjoy too.

I found it before Clemson played LSU in the 2012 Chick-fil-A Bowl. Honestly Clemson’s TigerNet is 10 of the same posters that post all day with everyone else just reading. It’s boring.

I enjoy all of the topic boards and think it’s one of the best sites.

Saw LSUFreeks masterpieces and lead me to here. Lurked for long time before deciding to finally make an account.

This. I’ll add that I first saw links to Freek on Everyday Should be Saturday. RIP.

How do y’all wind up posting exclusively on Tigerdroppings?

Tigerdroppings doesn't take itself nearly as seriously as other sites, which is very appealing.

was looking for advice on another board on where to watch rugby in New Orleans.

And this board talks baseball more than about anywhere else

Without a little bit of flavor from around the country this place would be just as insufferable as every other terrible sports board they have out there

Wait, you mean diversity is good? Don't tell the poli board.

There are 3 main events in tigerdroppings history

Nick Saban being hired at Alabama- this sparked the creation of the SEC rant because the tiger rant couldn't handle the trolling

ATPB- I think a lot of people underestimate the magnitude of that thread- it was known across every CFB message board on the internet

LSUFreek- his gifs were also spread around every CFB board on the internet and they were often originally posted here.

The first two brought thousands and thousands of posters though. I only lurked in those days because the tuscaloosa news had a decent board at that time.

Are there bigger or better message boards than TD?

No, as someone mentioned earlier TD has the best and most user friendly layout by a long shot. I just can’t picture myself going to some Alabama website, for example, all the time and posting on their sports message boards.

n terms of a good conversation/argument, Reddit is not a great layout either

All the major sports subs are just rehashed meme’s or lame jokes getting upvoted.

The jannies completely over moderate too

I wonder how many people stay here because tigerdroppings is seemingly the only message board that isn’t layout terribly

This is honestly the main reason I came here. I’ve stayed here because you can get a little bit of just about everything. From tech advice, to movie discussions to sports info, and it’s easy to navigate.

The first thread I loved was the thread after Jordan Jefferson got suspended for the bar fight on Tiger Rant.

Dudes were in that thread breaking down film frame by frame like it was the Zapruder film.
