edit: I know they don't have their first round pick.

Apparently you didn't. But any time a Stan Kroenke team loses that's a good thing.

The Saints are eaten up with the same kind of stupid. If they lose this week they finish last, and get a last place schedule. If they win, they could finish second in the division. They shouldn't want a 2nd place schedule.

Establishing a winning culture will always be more important than tanking

The Falcons have mastered the art of winning games after they have been eliminated from contention and it never helps them establish a winning culture.

I saw a stat last night that since 2018, the Falcons are 53-78 in games when they are mathematically alive. They are 12-4 in games after they have been mathematically eliminated.

Weak-minded people function better when the pressure is off. LSU kept Les Miles after his team beat A&M in 2015. It was an emotional win becuse everyone thought it was his last game at LSU. The players picked him up and carried him around the field.

He should have been fired then. They fired him after four games in 2016.

You realize the Rams have the Falcons pick don't you? Of course not. Stick to college football "bamafan"

The Rams would have improved their draft position by winning.

The Falcons have had plenty of seasons over the years to parlay poor records into effective draft picks.

How’s that worked out overall?

They might as well try and win the game.

I know I’d be pizzed as a fan to go to a game paying the prices you pay nowadays and thinking a bunch of high paid, highly skilled athletes were tanking a game so their front office could get the privilege to pay even more money to some future draft picks.

Have you seen the NFC South’s records amongst teams? 2 more wins during the season and the Falcons are in the playoffs

Why tank during weak division year?

might have actually found the best QB this past draft and this years draft. They’ll pick around 8-12 and you if you think Shough is that guy that’s perfectly fine.

I know you know when teams try to tank, it’s not the current players’ decision
