Shuuuure he did.

And Leclerc didn't get preferential treatment at Monza.

Qualifying is almost as exciting as the race.

Vettel still hasnt completed a lap in q1. Messed up one, yellow flag for Kubica canceled the second, red flag for Albon the third.

I can't help but think the spirit of Enzo "aerodynamics are for people that can't build engines" Ferrari is very happy these days. While Mercedes has had their party mode Lewis thinks Ferrari's engine qualy mode should be called "jet mode".

It's been remarkable watching them close the gap in horsepower over the past couple of years. Now they're so far ahead it's hard to believe. It's just a shame they were so far off the pace in the first 8 races. The two teams have been basically even since then.

There's also rumors that Renault and Mercedes might both be planning to leave the sport after 2020, after the pretty big news of McLaren securing an engine deal with Mercedes for 2021.

edited to say Mercedes might leave as a constructor and go back to engine supplier only. Renault leaving altogether.

Ferrari had this one. Bad timing on the safety cars and Vettel might have just bitched out for the season.

Merc with the formation lap at the end just to twist the knife in Ferrari. And LeClerc proves again he’s a little bitch.

How is he a bitch? Bottas is one of the best defenders in F!, especially on that track. That's his job. Defend for Hamilton. The last time they had a guy who could drive well overall, he beat Hamilton for the championship. Can;t have that, so they got defender man, and he does it well.

His constant complaints on the radio, has nothing to do with Bottas. He’s going to reach Alonso status of complaining if he keeps it up. He’s a good driver but he needs to STFU and drive his shite. At least Alonso was funny. Of course it would help if Ferrari had a good strategy. I enjoy watching them implode though.

They did have a good strategy. They lost because Vettel pulled out and the safety car allowed Merc to catch up.

Incorrect. Blocking is his specialty, especially at this track. They even mentioned it in the broadcast.

He's been faster than Vettel for a while now. He should have been allowed to pass Vettel in the last race, and this race seems to smack of Vettel being bitter. He won't be at Ferrari next year.

Why? Did they frick your girlfriend or something?

Because they are Ferrari and they are so full of it, it’s fun to watch them keep screwing up. When they have the fastest car and keep finding ways to lose, it’s amusing to me.

And I still don’t see where I said anything about Bottas. Ferrari didn’t have a good strategy because they assumed Vettel would’t be so quick. Their strategy was just to cover Hamilton and that strategy was no longer needed since Vettel dominated him off the line.

Sochi summarized:

Ferrari: Seb, let Charles by
Vettel: Lol
Vettel's engine: Seb, its James..
Bottas: GET IN THERE LEWIS

Word is that Fernando Alonso is returning with Maclaren in 2021, if FFP is enforced in F1.

Would Lando get dumped in that scenario?

McLaren would be crazy to. Alonso has the mystique of Kubica.

After moaning the whole second half of the race last week Leclerc said he would refrain in those moments in the future. 5 laps in already crying.

Like VET said, catch up.

There has been a ton of talk that LEC is not who he appears to be. After the last few weeks and the Prince Albert thing he definitely seems like he has a silver spoon in his arse.

I just think Mclaren has moved on. They are doing much better and have a team that works right now. If anyone is gone it is SAI, but that would be crazy.

I can't wait to pull for Mclaren Mercedes again.
