AD won't even be in the league in 2028

That team just doesn’t have the star power of the previous teams.

Lebron will be 43. Curry will be 40.
But I agree neither will be playing in the next Olympics.

Tatum was objectively worse than they were, so…

Embiid up until the last couple games has been garbage. He’s too inconsistent. Let some of the younger forwards that will take it serious and actually try get some run with the team.

They better put a pool together and have members of that pool pay some games each summer in between now and then. The rest of the world is catching up and some of those teams have played together since they were teenagers.

Zion will have a sore vagina and will most likely be out for the summer.

Curry said “one and done” almost immediately after they won gold, and he mentioned it being the only one, but who knows four years from now.

There's no American born player in the league or on the horizon that can take the assignment of Joker better than Embiid. Both of them could fall apart physically by then, Embiid more likely, but the legit big man pickings in America are pretty slim.

Who are the feasible bigs?
Adebayo, Davis though he will be 35, Embiid, and then among the new guys, would think Chet who should be very good as he continues to bulk up a bit, Jarrett Allen could be a name to look for, and if they continue the smart trend of picking quasi role players who excel at one thing, Derrick Lively who would lose to half of this board in a shooting contest but is just an amazing defensive presence.
Evan Mobley is another guy to look at, as well as Banchero if we include him as a big.

Pointless. There’s no telling what the league will look like in 4 years time.

Other than Derrick White, the entire 2024 roster would have been on the shortlist after

Bam is a lock
They'll cross their fingers AD holds up that long
Paolo probably in since he already pissed off Italy for Team USA
Chet seems likely but even once he bulks up he'll still be "thin"
Lively seems like more of an insurance big than in the rotation if he's on the roster
Allen could be a similar rotational role to Lively even if he's a different player
Mobley we'll see with his development. Everybody was whispering KG his rookie year and now he's post-hype

Because this roster is full of vets. LeBron, Durant, Curry, Davis, Embiid, Holliday, etc.
They’re most likely not going to be playing in 2028.
It’s going to be mostly current younger guys this next time. There’s no telling who may break out and take their game to the next level in 4 years.

Because if he played to his expectations, then he would easily be on this list. He should be the face of the league right now, but he isn't. That's his fault.

He went 0-16 on jumpshots….
