It would definitely be a drastic move but if it opens up a max deal that results in Kawhi, wgaf?

they'd be trading Kahwi for AD b/c they wouldn't be getting AD once they reneg

You provide no substance to any thread. You are just so upset Pels are going back to irrelevancy while the Lakers will be primetime TV every single game

the Lakers have to pick the Pel's guy at 4

just imagine THAT one aspect of this trade being unfolded b/c the lakers nuke the deal after the draft, then apply it to everything
Still pick who the Pels want.

Just don’t send the trade in until the 30th.

Give Griffin the option to either move the trade to the 30th or enjoy AD for another year(or whatever new trade he can make with a new team).

If Lebron, AD, and Kawhi ended up with the lakers then nobody would touch them. They could win titles until they split.

The Pels could then just tell the Lakers go to frick themselves
Really?

On a deal that they raped the Lakers in?

Its a shame West Coast Ag has to get lumped in with these morons that have been Lakers fans for a day. Although we disagree on pretty much everything, the guy never goes full retard.

But these guys in the thread currently are out of their fricking minds.

They think the following steps will occur:

- Lakers back out of the AD trade
- Pelicans don't trade AD to anyone and just sit on him for a year
- LeBron is all smiles and sunshine
- Lakers fans and media agree with Pelinka's decision to back out of getting a superstar
- Kawahi sees how functional the Lakers front office currently is and leaps at the opportunity to go there
- AD joins in a year to create a super team

That isn’t going to happen. The trade is happening in the 6th.

And no way in hell the Pelicans are pushing back the effective date of the trade

Back to the bargaining table.

It was probably part of the trade that if the Lakers are in line to get ??? max player then they would then add in XYZ trade compensation to have the effective date pushed to late July.

they'd be nuking the deal and preventing themselves from getting AD. his entire leverage is "i only want to be a Laker" and if the Lakers nuke this deal, they tell him "we would prefer Kahwi"

Why wouldn’t they get AD?

Would Griffin really take AD back over a date switch in a deal where he destroyed the Lakers?

I’m not trying to be a smartass. Just saying it might be worth it to force Griffin to make this decision. Put the ball in his court.
