When he names Bagwell as GM, who then names Brad Ausmus as manager, we can ignore the team entirely until Crane sells it in the same condition he bought it.
It is incredible how he could destroy everything he built through the work of others, including his legacy.
Hiring back Luhnow would save him, but there is no way the ego of this man would allow it. He was so damn jealous of him and wanted full credit.
Letting Reid go and placing his son in his position was foretelling. He's been bad for his own business, but they still show up in numbers, living in the past.

Grrr I need a World Series contender every year or I’ll refuse to go to games

There's a reason teeth have nerves.
When a child touches something hot for the first time, if they didn't feel pain, they would have to wait for the smell to know, thus possibly losing their hand
Your reactions are slow, Baw, but to each his own. Far be it from me to tell you how and when to enjoy your passions.

I’m sure Crane is missing your yearly pilgrimage from Carencro

Went to see Seattle vs Astros Sunday before last. Astros are one of the worst hitting teams out there. They had 6 guys in the lineup not hitting .250. That included Altuve at .246. They might have had 7 guys under .250... I lost count.
A change is GM won't hurt but they can't hit. That's a team that will bat .210 in the playoffs if they make it.

That exact observation can be said about every team in the shitty AL brotha. The other teams just mask it by being more timely in their hitting or having really really good complete pitching staffs
It’s not a good lineup but they are somehow 3rd in the league in runs/game and 3rd in OPS.

Can we do Joe Espada next?
Jim Crane would never risk a Latino mutiny in the clubhouse. Dumping Brown is too little too late

Jeff Bagwell being rumored as a GM option.
I love this
Crane is a moron
ETA Jim Crane is Jerry Jones

No legitimate GM would take the job with the current bagwell dynamic anyway. Might as well let Baggy officilally take the spot.

Apparently you do enough to post in this thread.
Even when they suck, the Astros live in your dome. Never forget how they owned your bitch hero for the better part of 10 years.

Yep.. let him crash and burn and force Crane's hand.
The Bagwell/Ausmus era is upon us.
You know Ausmus is gonna happen.

Meh. It won't matter if Crane doesn't change.
