I just went down a rabbit hole, and apparently Haskins' dad is basically Lavar Ball. Dude had a draft party for his son and had a cover charge for entry 
He's apparently been trying to build a brand around his son for a long time. They have a website here where the only real thing you can do on it is get their phone number and email, and looks like something I'd put together in my HS computer science class when we got to CSS and HTML

Let's not forget when he was drafted he had a nude pic of his girlfriend as his general phone background for the whole world to see.

I'd have to go back and confirm but I recall hearing once the reason Washington drafted McLaurin is because he was scouted by the team when they were looking at Haskins. If that's true the best thing that Haskins ever did for Washington was to help them draft another player.

I agree, but the virtue signaling contest between the NFL, NBA, and B1G brought this on. You have to do what you have to do. Watching the use of masks on the sideline of a football game is farcical.

Remember what happened to the Ravens after their Strength Coach exposed the entire team to COVID? They had to play a game with less than half their roster. Washington is in playoff contention, they can't afford to drop a game because of a selfish teammate.
Also their headcoach is in the middle (just finished?) of chemotherapy to treat cancer. He's more at risk of actually dying if exposed to COVID.
A more light hearted reason to care is Haskins made the strippers pose for a picture wearing his jersey
