I've gotta go with Johnson's over the shoulder no look pass from last year. IMHO this tops the annual drop the ball inside the one yard line before scoring a touchdown because I was showboating.

(I'll admit this likely comes in at least second place to any play that causes the ball to be turned over in the final seconds of a game thereby allowing a team to lose when they should have won)

The 28th toss-dive of the game that so far has only netted 30 yards.

The “final” play of the 2010 Tennessee game by both teams. Les was such an idiot that he confused Tennessee so much that they ran 13 players out there

The kick 6. If Saban doesn’t argue with the refs to get time put back on the clock so he can attempt a 57 yard field goal with a kicker who couldn’t hit from 40, the game goes to OT and Alabama probably wins.

That’s it. That’s the bad play.

Stoerner from Arkansas fumbling away a likely victory against Tennessee during their 98 season title run is pretty cringe.

LA Chargers calling a Timeout vs the LV Raiders in OT, when the Raiders were willing to let the clock run out and they BOTH make it to the playoffs with a Tie!

On Sept. 11, 1999, at home, with less than 20 seconds on the clock and no timeouts left for UNLV, all Kevin Steele had to do as Baylor’s head coach is take a knee at the UNLV 8 yard line to win. He doesn’t. Tries to run the score up. Ball comes loose into the end zone. UNLV picks it up and 100 yards later Baylor loses the game 27-24. Keep in mind UNLV had only won one game in the last 16 tries. Baylor was on an eight game losing streak. I have never been impressed with Kevin Steele. And, this just cements him as one of the most idiotic football minds in the business. In my opinion.
