So it seems to be pretty clear that Will Levis's agent is the one who floated all the bullshite about Stroud's S2 score to get Levis a lot of hype in the week leading up to the draft. This manipulated the public so much that he became the favorite for the top pick even ( ).

Is it possible that this move (combined with Levis's alleged shite personality) just made teams not want to deal with him?

Levis will go pretty early tonight. I could see Lions or Rams grabbing him. He just wasn’t better than all those lineman that went last night

I think one of the takeaways here is how easy it is to manipulate these betting markets

Oh yeah that Levis top pick stuff 100% showed that.

I think this could be a combo of things. Is his toe injury worse than let on? Is he just that insufferable in that his interviews were terrible? Both? Agent?

Seems there are a few red flags but even with the age, I'd prefer Hooker over Levis if I had an immediate QB need.

My draft conspiracy is Nick Caserio had a big bet on CJ Stroud going #2

Wasn't it traced to a reddit account that had been open for 6 days? Verify the source? Fukit...it's on reddit!

Anderson at 2 and trying to get one of the better QB guys next year seems to have been much more optimal than overpaying to move up to get Anderson after picking CJ. They must REALLY like CJ.

Even though the 1st was Cleveland's, it could still be a top-10 pick next year.

I would have been good with that or trading for Lance even. They gave a lot but still have a 1 next at least. Trading 33 hurts

Yeah a few picks later there was a similar move up for FAR less capital.

Have there been reports on what SF are asking for Lance? In an alternate reality, if HOU could've gotten away with just taking Anderson at #2 and give up either #33 (optimal obviously) or #12 for Lance seems like a better gamble than what they're doing now. They gave up a lotttt of capital for the Stroud/Anderson combo.

I will say this, if I was a team, I'd raise an eyebrow at how he handled dropping like that. He was pretty pouty about the whole thing.

Others have handled that with a lot more class.

I like Will Anderson, and his floor is super high, but does he really project as a potential elite edge? Likely not.

Giving up all of that for a guy who projects to max out at "very good but not elite" is very worrisome

Supposedly there are teams that took him off the board because of the toe.

Not necessarily the injury, apparently it IS pretty bad. But because those teams said he needed surgery and Levis is refusing to do that, instead wants to rehab it.

Anderson is a so-so athlete with a weird body type. Demeco Ryans probably figures out how to use him, but he isn’t a sure fire stud.

He reminds me of Trey Hendrickson
