He had 55 yards passing in the entire game you f'ing moron, that's what's viewed as a "negative". Historically awful. You should never be allowed to discuss sports again because you're buttfricking retarded to ignore that.

I guess UGA should fall big time in the rankings today. They only had 70 yards passing vs GA tech this week…….

No, they won’t, because no one has ever fricking cared before about “passing yards” in a ranked win

Not a single person talking about UGA passing yards but ITS HISTORICAL as you say. fricking clown

Only once in history have we penalized someone for winning by 10 against the #15 team because “well yeh they won the game easily against a ranked opponent but passing yards bro”

The top 12 should be:

OSU
Indiana
UGA
Texas Tech
Oregon
TAMU
ND
Oklahoma
Alabama
Ole Miss
Miami
BYU

That should still make them in the playoffs, but if some upsets happen, too bad. Sucks for the players, but they should take it up with Lane and their AD for not being adults.

Please tell me how they all are three in??

Ohio State
Indiana
Georgia
Oregon
Texas Tech
A&M
Ole Miss
Oklahoma
ND
Alabama
Tulane or North Texas
Virginia or James Madison

Who else do you have in?

If Texas Tech loses to BYU it could get a bit squirrelly for ND, Texas Tech, and Bama (if they lose to Georgia)

and again, it was with the third string QB who wouldn’t have even been the QB for the playoffs..and the backup would’ve had a month get comfortable with the offense and practicing with the 1s

and the backup was only held out of the game because he was targeted in the game before against rival Florida (also a win) and forced to be out due to concussion protocol. so the NCAA essentially forced him to sit out, and then the committee used it as an excuse to keep them out of the playoffs

no one’s argument on keeping FSU out is grounded in reality. they were undefeated and defeated the team who took their spot, but held out by clowns sitting in a conference room due to an “eye test” and people on this board still defend it and use fake narratives and talk about FSUs bowl game, record the next year and this year etc. which have nothing to do with the decision

Florida state must love hearing that change in logic

FSU played in the ACCCG without Travis and Brock Glenn was absolutely terrible.

Ironically, could be a blessing that Ole Miss didn’t make the SECCG, because if they got smoked by UGA without Kiffin, that maybe would’ve kept them out.

Well the obvious difference now is the CFP being 12 instead of 4. 2023 FSU is in and still probably hosting a first round game.

Again, Glenn wasn’t the QB. Rodemaker was the backup. Holding Glenn’s performance against FSU was bullshite

quote:

week 12 of the 2023 season, Rodemaker replaced an injured Travis and completed 13 of 23 pass attempts for 217 yards and two touchdowns in a win over North Alabama.[10] After the North Alabama game,

Rodemaker took over as the Seminoles starting quarterback after Travis suffered a season-ending injury.[11] Rodemaker suffered a concussion against Florida that forced Brock Glenn to fill in for the ACC Championship Game.[12]

Absolutely terrible

Amazing, though not surprising, you had to explain that twice.

Honestly, if the committee took them out of the playoffs that would probably be best thing to happen for the sport to disincentive future coaches from pulling a Lane

No, it’s not bullshite. If anything it makes the argument stronger. Rodemaker was decapitated against UF. He was compromised, and I do not believe despite Norvell’s mind games leading into the ACCCG that he was going to play again that season. (It was pretty ridiculous Norvell had him re-enter to run out the clock at the end.) The committee prob thought the same.

FSU was down to its 3rd-string QB. Glenn was probably going to be the starting QB the rest of the season, and he was terrible in the ACCCG (which the committee saw; that’s the key difference between the FSU situation and OM/Kiffin situation), just like he ended up being terrible against UGA, and terrible in the games he started for them last season.

ETA: Even if Rodemaker could’ve/would’ve played in the CFP, he was pretty bad against a below .500 UF too. The committee saw both him and Glenn struggle. Rodemaker wasn’t good (and the committee saw) and that’s why FSU desperately chose to go to DJ U / Rodemaker chose to transfer.

because it is the SEC

That is the ONLY reason, anything else is bullshite.

There is no objectivity.
It's all about screwing the lesser schools without actually appearing to screw the lesser schools.

What? It was a month break before the playoffs and he was just in concussion protocol due to a targeting against him.

He was knocked out and didn’t play a complete game against UF and he had 1 week of practice with the 1s … and it was a rivalry game

Alabama literally had to use their STARTING QUARTERBACK to barely beat a horrible Auburn team the same exact week…but that was shrugged off as “aNyThIng can hApPeN iN tHe iRoN bOWl”, funny how that works?

Nobody knows how Rodemaker would’ve performed with a full month of practice, and FSUs defense was completely capable of shutting any offense down in the post season.

FSU beat Alabama and was undefeated. Alabama lost a game, to FSU. Football is played on the football field.

how far should Ole Miss drop literally missing their head coach and almost entire offensive staff is a valid question using the logic above
