I think you’re intellectually challenged

I said I know it sounds hyperbolic, and nowhere do I cheer an injury

LOL. Hardly, pal.

The intent of your comment was clear. Hyperbolic or not, you were pulling for an injury.

Oh I agree and I called him out on it also but be the better man and don't stoop to his level. You just did come back.

Sucks for Diaz. He was an absolute STUD for you guys last year.

Hopefully it’s not as bad as it looked. Uncle Steve will have to actually give up a prospect instead of straight cash for someone else

Calling it now Insurance won't pay out because it happened after the game.

Every big contract need to have a no WBC clause.

I'm sure that the Mets are insured for this exact scenario but now Diaz is getting paid 20 million this year to sit on his arse and his team is without a closer because of a stupid celebration in a meaningless fricking game.

If you aren't a Mets fan, why do you care?

Because it could be one of my teams players next year.

I saw a replay. I saw players celebrating around him on the field after the last out. Did he hyper extend his leg celebrating. Or did someone step on him in the celebration? I still didn't get a clear look how it happened.

It reminds me when Morales somehow broke his leg celebrating a game ending home run for the Angels a long time ago. I don't recall how that injury happened either.

I didn’t know the WBC was happening until this injury. Probably tells you the value of the event.

Says more about your interest in baseball than the WBC.

The event has been great! The passion from many teams and fans is huge for baseball. It will only get bigger over the years. Who doesn’t love repping their country. The US/Mexico soccer rivalry carried over to baseball last week. They wanted to beat us bad and now we are out for revenge!

The knockout rounds are going to be great entertainment.

No.

Just chalk this one up to: Mets Luck.

Mets Luck is bad luck. It's a snakebit franchise.

I have not seen an update on the injury. MRI set for today. Has anyone heard any rumors on this?
