Looking for non saints fan responses as you have bias.
Essentially she claimed the Saints told Darren Sproles he would be released so he could chose which team he wants to go to. They saw teams had interest in him and decided to trade him instead.
I understand it's a business and you have to make business decisions. However, if you were told one thing and the opposite was done, wouldn't your strife have justification?

If she really "understood this is a brutal business" she wouldn't have went on that rant.

if you can't use the correct verb tense, don't fricking type a novel out for public viewing.
idiot.
it's a business, they saw value, so they went for it.

even if they werent "iied" too, id expect anyone to be upset with not being able to choose where to go.
WIth that being said, players get traded all the time, in EVERY sport, without public airing out things like this

No. The Saints are getting a 5th round pick.
They could have chosen to take nothing or they could have chosen to take a 5th round pick.
Why would anyone in the world think they would / expect them to do anything other than take the 5th round pick?

The team put the team's interests first? Shocking. She should just STFU.

This. NFL is a business not a charity.

She curses AND praises God...how adorable.
If I'm Sproles, I'm making her take that shite down with the quickness. 0% of the time, players' wives chiming in on shite helps them. 0.

I would think DS would be thrilled to go to Philly. He'll fit in well there. They could have sent him way worse places.

Nope, she has no point. It's a business.

Sure she can be upset.... But if she "knows this is a business" she wouldnt have went on that rant. Like everyone business, they wanna protect themselves and try and benefit as much as possible.
It would be better for Sproles if he was cut so he could choose where he wanted to go play at, but its better for the organization to get something in return for him. Just the nature of the beast.
Plus, does he wife not realzie that if we trade him, he would get $3m next year? And after that he would be a FA and could choose where he wants to play at. If he was released, he wouldnt get $3m next year.
