I’m going to guess these fake Denver fans will be fake Minny fans in next series.

If Ant Man took fewer long jumpers and attacked more he could be the best player in the NBA.

Dirk won it in 2007, when the Mavs finished the regular season with a league best 67 wins. Only lost six home games that year. They had lost in The Finals to Miami the year before.
In 2007 they lost in the 1st round of the playoffs to a Golden State team coached by Don Nelson. Nelson wasn't going to let Dirk beat them. They didn't let him get off an uncontested shot. Nelson played mainly Matt Barnes & Stephen Jackson on him, but also used al Harrington, & even Mickaël Piétrus on him. They sent him to the line for 50 free throws in the series. Dirk averaged 19.7 points per game in the series after averaging 24.6 points per game in the regular season.
The series vs. Miami in 2006 and Golden State in 2007 were the 1st series where Dirk's playoff stats went down.
Dirk had always worked hard on his skills every off season, but those slaps in the face started an effort to play stronger inside.

Forgotten is Caruso and early season IHart had to sit to start season due to wrist injury. Then when he comes back Chet goes out for months.
Alex Caruso on OKC playing small:
“I played the 4 a lot in Chicago out of necessity and I thought I’d come here and play the wing and I’m playing the 5 seven games in [laughs].”
Flash forward 6 months and Caruso played the 5 against the best center in the world in a Game 7 win. He was MVP of this game.

Well that does prove my point about Joker not being the greatest center ever. If you tried to guard Shaq or Hakeem with Alex Caruso they’d score every time they got the ball.

And if he played for OKC they probably sweep this round
Swap him and SGA and OKC sweep Denver

They’d just foul Shaq every time he touched the ball and make him shoot free throws. And abuse him in the pick and roll on the other end.
And I love Shaq

Never stopped him from dominating before only with that little guy he’d still get the buckets anyway plus he’d foul him out in a quarter. As far as the pick and roll theory, Joker who’s far worse at moving his feet and playing D somehow manages to stay on the court. Most teams just use a pre switch coverage to negate that sort of thing now days.

Absolutely, next question.

quote:Yeah guys can't get in a rhythm from a guy who finished #2 in the league in assists
Shooting is a flow type thing and players get in rhythms. With Jokic his teammates never do because everything flows thru him.
quote:MVP-caliber player giving up good looks? Are you trying to argue he's retarded? With that selflessness why isn't he even sniffing 10 assists a game?
he makes an extra effort to get his teammates involved giving up even good looks to involve them
It's rare to see it in its purest form like this, but this is what full retard looks like

A Denver team that fired their coach at the very end of the regular season, that absolutely has no depth and relied that on a one-armed Michael Porter Jr was able to beat a good Clippers team and just took a team with one of the greatest regulars seasons in NBA history to 7 games.
Let that sink in.
Let that sink in.
