I've only had two legitimate eagle putts. The first was on 6(?) at Beaver Creek. I hit a blind 3 wood over the woods and it landed about 25 feet from the hole, left it 4 feet short and made the birdie. The second was at Santa Maria after it had rained a few days and for some reason they had the tee box way up on an already short par 5, I think it was 12 maybe. anywho, same result

Yes. I completley mis hit my drive on a par 3 and it never got more than 10 feet of the ground. but it skidded and skipped all the way to within 6 feet from the hole. Sank it on the next shot.

My first birdie: I was YOUNG. Maybe 7 years old. Teed off on the first par three and CRUSHED my drive...about 80 yards. Around halfway to the green because that's all I ha in the tank. Pretty sure I kept my driver in my hand and walked to my ball. Hit a worm burner up into the green and into the hole for a birdie. My dad was 10 times happier than I was. Good times.

Yep. Got it off a 50 ft putt with a huge fricking left to right break (lined up the putt easily 15 feet above the hole).
Very sweet.

I only remember one time in my life where I made a birdie putt... at the LSU course on a par 3.
It might have happened before, but I've played less than 10 rounds of golf in my life, so I doubt it.

My first birdie was in Gulf Shores at Glen Lakes in the early to mid 90s. I was 12 or 13 and had probably been playing for about 2-3 years at that point. Driver, 8 iron, 20 footer.
My first eagle was a year or so later on a par 5 at Belle Terre (#12)...driver, 4 iron, 25-30 footer.

Don't remember the birdie but the first eagle was on a par 5 at the local goat ranch (threeputt knows the place) and hit a SW in from about 50 yards out.

First birdie was on a short par 3 IIRC. Not real sure. Have had a few legitimate eagle putts but haven't made any of them.

I putted over the hole and missed the birdie and missed the par putt. I threw my putter into the water.
Oh, so you're one of those douches.

I drove it 350 onto the green and saw it was sloping slightly left and I corrected accordingly. I then hit putt preview and saw it was right at the hole, so I took a deep breath and pulled back on the controller said a prayer and let it go. Next thing I know it's in the cup and I had eagled. Best. Day. Ever.

First eagle putt was on Number 8 at Pinehurst #2. Had 4 feet. Missed. That was 10 years ago. Made my first eagle about 6 months ago.

I remember my first birdie. My summers from 9-13 I was dropped off at Selman field golf course from 7am till noon everyday. Toward the end of my first summer I convinced my dad that I was getting good so he decided to come play with me. I was eager to show him my skillz, but came out jittery and made about a 22 of the first hole. #2 was a 165 yard par 3 and I knocked a three wood up there in the leather. He made me put it and I made it. It was probably a year or so before I made another one, but I'll never forget that one.

Yes, I was stationed in Okinawa and decided to give golf a try. I went with a group of buddies from the shop to play a round at Awase Meadows. I don't recall what number the hole was but I do remember that it had started to rain just as I was about to tee off. So, in an attempt to keep my grip dry, I put the club under my shirt to keep the rain off of it. The hole itself was a 324 yard par 4, with a dogleg left. As I hit the ball, I felt the club slip a little and I just knew the club was going to go farther down the fairway than my ball did. I lost sight of the ball and wasn't able to find it in the fairway or the woods, which is where I expected it to be. Then one of the guys asked, "whose ball is that on the green?" ...low and behold it was mine, just 4 feet away from the cup. I drained the putt for my first and, to this day, only eagle. Awesome game...I'm hooked.

I've made two eagles.
My luckier one I was 150 yards out & used a 6 iron. I drove it past the green where the ball hit a pine tree on the back of the green & bounced back onto the green & rolled straight into the cup.
I say this one was my luckier one because all of my good shots are lucky.

1st birdie was a par 3 at Cinco Ranch, tee shot landed about 10 ft from the hole slight left to right break and drained it.
My 1st eagle came from playing in a scramble and knocked in a pitch from about 50 yards out, not sure if that technically counts but a great shot.
