Do you really think >50% of the top 70 NCAA 100m guys are foreign?

The track community thought this would be a joke. Metcalf proved them wrong.

Amusing that NFL players from decades ago( above) would absolutely smoke Metcalf & most modern players that fans/ media slobber over.
Metcalf is 6’4 229 and hadn’t run track since high school.
Gault 6’0 178 and ran track professionally.
Green 5’9 184 and ran track in college.
Hayes 5’11 185 and ran track professionally.

Yeah, once this weekend’s results are uploaded he won’t even be top 80 in the US.

There are a lot of big guys in the NFL who run crazy 40 times. Simmons from Clemson and Shaqueem Griffith both ran under 4.4 and are around DK's size. Plus there are crazy times from giant linemen. DK's a freak but he's surrounded by freaks in the league.

I was just eyeballing a guess of the number of people on this one. Should’ve mentioned it was as of May 5

Ato Boldon wasn't criticizing Metcalf. He correctly stated that Metcalf seemed to be a " 10.5 guy running down a 10.6 guy". Metcalf ran a 10.67 (?) just as Boldon suspected. Track guys truly respect NFL guys , but Boldon was accurate in his assessment of Metcalf.
" Metcalf is a fast guy , but I'm sorry if I dont jizz my pants like fans / media "- Boldon.

What point do you think you’re making here? No one said those 3 guys weren’t fast. No one is even saying Metcalf is the fastest player in the nfl today. He was in this race as a publicity stunt because of his chase down play last year. Not only did he not embarrass himself as most track people were predicting, he held his own against a group of professional sprinters.

Yes he was. And on the tv broadcast of the meet just now he admitted Metcalf proved him wrong.

Can you not read? Metcalf ran 10.36.

Now do his quote from the meet tv broadcast

Yea, but Connor Washington went a legal 10.21 at the district meet.

Down-vote me away if I'm wrong as I'm too lazy to look it up but I think those times were in the 100-Yard-Dash not 100 meters.

Not only are you too lazy to look it up, you’re too dumb to realize those times (if they were for 100y) would be like 11.0 for 100m. Do you really think Hayes and Gault were 11.0 guys?

They didn't have things such as "training" and shoes back in the 80s.

DK Metcalf did much better than anyone that has any real knowledge of track and field expected him to do. It still doesn’t make him a world class sprinter or even in the real conversation of world class sprinters.
He is a world class athlete, but let’s not pretend if he quit football and focused on track he would be an elite sprinter. At best a 10.36 guy could get to 10.1, even with PEDs.
Not a single athlete in that heat would make the US Olympic team as a 100m guy unless they drastically improve over the next few meets.

Last week he predicted 10.5.
On the tv broadcast after the race boldon said Metcalf proved him wrong.
How long are you going to try to ignore all of this?

What other track and field guy is 6’4 230 lbs running a 10.36? Just because Metcalf isn’t going to win Olympic gold in the 100 meters doesn’t mean he’s not a super human athlete. I would bet anything Metcalf is stronger and has more lateral and change of direction quickness than any current sprinter, gault, green, or hayes.
Several posts into this thread and multiple attempts at shifting your point, you still don’t have one.
