I think Reggie Bush fastest was 10.42 in H.S.

He was a big time track star from Cali.

Very Solid and respectable time for DK. As others have said, if he decided to do this full time, he could probably start running in the 10.1-10.2 range regularly and maybe on an absolutely perfect day crack 10.

Boldon called his time beforehand & obviously he & other track athletes gained a ton of respect for him. Metcalf actually showed up & ran instead of saying outrageous things on social media. Its great publicity for track when a popular NFL,Soccer, Basketball player,etc..... shows up & has the courage that Metcalf has.

Now a few Track athletes should maybe run at the NFL combines ( although the 40 or 36 meters proves little). Christian Coleman would be a legend if he showed up & ran his 4,12 at the NFL combines.

I don't post that much and I'm actually right even less, but I do know a little about the track. My post from last weeks thread....

Despite my post on page 1 I think this is awesome, wish more athletes would try things like this. But he won't get anywhere near 10 flat, and I agree with the previous post that he won't get 10.2. I do think he could run in the 10.3s or even upper 10.2s

Now if Metcalf dropped 15-20 lbs and trained for track full time for a year he might be able to eventually run faster.

People think Boldon was attacking Metcalf because he tweeted that " A 10.4 guy ran down a 10.6 guy". He damn near predicted his time(10.36) down to a fraction of a second.

Track athletes have always respected NFL players & vice versa , but they have much respect for Metcalf showing up.
