i feel like many tennis fans feel similarly to you

he's an odd guy. when he is all there he is probably the most mentally tough guy in all of tennis. his will to win important points in return games is second to none in the history of the sport. when he gets locked in he is the best player to ever play.

but it's hard to call this same guy the most mentally tough guy in tennis when he can so easily lose that mental edge for games, matches, months, even over a year at a time.

And he wonders why fans don’t pull for him.

I am just kind of indifferent on Djoker. I think he has grown up a lot since he was a bit of a punk. He's a smart guy and has generally learned to say the right things through the years. I am not going to criticize a guy too much for handling defeat poorly, unless it's a frequent thing.
