The pitcher threw over to first about 6 times. They KNEW he was ready to steal. It was obvious they were going to pitch out the next time he went home.

Yep. I was watching it with my little boy and he was asking me about all the pickoff attempts. I told him next pitch will be a pitch out. Boom pitch out, gunned him at 2nd. I hope he was as impressed with me as I was.

Only the perfect relay gets him. It was a perfect relay. I could see an argument for holding him, but we've been sending them all year long.

LSU and a couple of other schools comes to mind

That's because a lot of LSU fans think LSU recruits itself, which is partially true, but only partially.

it took a near perfect relay to get the out at home, and he still almost got in there... sending him with 2 outs was the righ tplay, imo.

Yep. Ole Miss' pitchers looked comfortable all game. Never gave us long periods of time to get rowdy. Anytime our batters would get ahead of the count, the crowd would momentarily get riled up and then shut up and sat down by a strike. Seemed like every time.

Only time we had considerable momentum, Bianco needed some fresh dirt on the mound.

I thought Bianco coached the series exceptionally well. Robe did a damn good job also. It just sucks that somebody loses. Both teams played hard all weekend.

Seriously doubt Austin signs...unless he just signed and I didn't hear about it.

Harry and Adams will end up leaving as well. Baranik is our only one on the fence for me.

Orynn Veillon was drafted but I think he makes it to campus

Very surprised to hear that. I'm in contact with the family periodically. Must've been a solid offer.

Yeah that's been going around for a while. Strentz will probably try to get an UDFA deal too since he's an old Jr.

Lots of holes to be filled, but I feel like we have a good class coming in to go along with some good players that are still here

I didn't understand pulling Hicks out so early. He works fast and pitches strikes, at least give him an inning to settle in and see what he's got.

No doubt. Fun to watch.

I agree. Momentum played a huge role in game 3. I understand playing aggressive, but the caught stealing and being cut down at home were huge buzzkills. Granted, you gain the momentum if those plays are successful, but at the same time, you squander chances for big innings and the lead.

You kind of have to adapt as the games go. You don't play game 3 of a Super the same way you play a Saturday game vs Troy.

And I still think Robicheaux is a great coach. A few balls fall here and there and ULL is going to Omaha.
