That tweet is probably the best thing that could happen to Jason Garrett

I mean I don’t see anything wrong with what he’s saying. Someone people don’t know how to interact with black people. Doesn’t mean they’re racist or there’s something wrong with them. They just can’t relate, as dez said. I see it all the time teaching.

Red Jesus is going to frick around, win the division, somehow make it to the NFC Championship, and get an extension. All with an 8-8 record.

Why didn’t he say this when Dallas was 3-0 and blowing out teams? He had to wait for the team to lose. Cheap fricking message.

Winning covers a myriad of problems, especially crap teams.

But I’m loving your logic. You woulda responded to his message at 3-0 as what? Something positive? Believable? Shite stirring.

Said it last year.

This isn't school or amateur athletics

Your coach shouldn't need to have a rapport with a given race of players to be successful in pro football

Honestly, in the NFL, I'm guessing most who try to tailor their approach to groups like this fail miserably

this debate is the cousin of QBs who get brownie points as guys whom the rest of the team wants to run through brick walls for.

Yeah, highly doubt Belichick goes out of his way to “relate” to black players.

There’s a difference between tailoring to groups and being able to relate to your guys

I get what Dez is saying.

Whether he is correct, only JG and the players know, but there are coaches who do fall into this.

But then you have guys Like Barry Odom, who tries to be the players friend, and they shite all over him, on and off the field. And when your not a good coach, the guys, who you let get away with murder, expose how poorly of a coach you are.

Not everything is about race. Maybe Garrett is just a shitty coach.
