Reports about Deshaun Watson's unhappiness with @HoustonTexans are accurate and sources close to the QB say he is still angry about team's insensitivity to social justice, including hiring practices, after the franchise failed to interview Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy this past week.

How I feel about this depends how it went down. If he signed his contract with the understanding he'd have some input on this, and wasn't given input, I understand.

recall his college coach was a white dude. Also, the WR that caught the winning TD against bama was another white dude. Watson is crying for the sake of crying.

No he got a legit beef ... ownership incompetence is his business... dude wants to compete for championships

There is not a single owner or GM that wants that drama added to their organization.

Not a single one.

Would not be a good trade for the Dolphins. Keep Tua and build your squad.

As opposed to the drama of your young star QB wanting out.

he's using social justice as an excuse.
he wants off the sinking ship

team sucks, cause ownership sucks JJ has told him that. He's looking for a way out and the social justice excuse provides cover

The first quote says the opposite.

His unhappiness is more current with state of franchise and what has transpired.

When he signed the contract there weren’t GM or HC openings. But when O’Brien was fired apparently he was assured he would have input but he wasn’t even told they hired a GM he found on Twitter. Pretty disrespectful to not even call the most important player by far and say hey we’re going with Nick Caserio as GM at least.

But he’s cool with history domestic abuse? I
Sure wish these SJWs were more consistent with their ‘cause’

You basically are downgrading at QB and getting back a kick you already traded

The optics of getting back your pick are bad but In logically evaluating the trade, The fact that you traded that pick is irrelevant. It’s a sunk cost. It’s just the #3 pick in the draft, which hold a lot of value.

I actually think Dolphins make sense. Texans could get a young guy with potential in Tua + 2 firsts this year and maybe another pick or two. Dolphins have the roster to have a 3-4 year contender window with a QB. Both teams win

what do social justice issues have to do with this?

It’s not. Mort claimed it was for some reason. Then came back and said social issues are NOT the reason.

Better to be first than right.

My opinion.

Dolphins won 10 games this year with a rookie and Fitzpatrick splitting the load.

They'll win close to that many if not more, consistently with Watson.

Miami's future first round picks will late.

Unless Miami is offering a hell of a lot more than Tua and a couple picks, Houston shouldn't even respond.

Sources say Watson could play hardball with Texans about a trade. His new $156 million contract includes a no-trade clause but informed speculation from a source is that he would consider the @MiamiDolphins in which Tua Tagovailoa and additional compensation goes to Houston.

I'd say enjoy the next five years. You didn't have to sign the mega deal. Now kindly go get fricked.
