Would you make this trade if you're Houston? It would obviously have to include Miami's #3 pick as well.

quote:

Watson's unhappiness with Texans is not strongly connected to social justice issues, a source close to the quarterback clarifies, even though those issues are important.
His unhappiness is more current with state of franchise and what has transpired.

quote:

Reports about Deshaun Watson's unhappiness with @HoustonTexans are accurate and sources close to the QB say he is still angry about team's insensitivity to social justice, including hiring practices, after the franchise failed to interview Chiefs OC Eric Bienemy this past week.

quote:

Sources say Watson could play hardball with Texans about a trade. His new $156 million contract includes a no-trade clause but informed speculation from a source is that he would consider the @MiamiDolphins in which Tua Tagovailoa and additional compensation goes to Houston.

I recall his college coach was a white dude. Also, the WR that caught the winning TD against bama was another white dude. Watson is crying for the sake of crying.

Don't get whiter than Watt and he doesn't seem too pleased with the Texans either.

Good. I think Deshaun should make a stand and quit. Give up all those millions in the name of your so called "social justice". Yeah, that ain't happening.

Watson is worth what, 3-4 1st round picks?

Miami gets:
Watson

Houston gets:
Tua
1st (#3), 2022 1st
2nd (#36), 2022 2nd

Why Miami would do it:
- Franchise QB
- They still get the 2021 18th overall pick to draft another quality player
- They still get 3rd round picks the next 2 years
- It would likely push them into playoff contention for the next 5 years

Why Houston would do it:
- Rebuilding with draft picks, allowing the GM to rebuild properly
- #3 overall pick allows them to either get a franchise QB if Tua isn't it OR trade for more assets

That’s awful value for Watson

You basically are downgrading at QB and getting back a kick you already traded

He lives in Texas right maybe he should try to angle to go to a state that cares about social justice. It’s so stupid

Bill O'Brien would probably trade Watson for a seventh round pick and a bag of chips.

Bienemy didn't even get to interview for the Texans HC job yet Brady did. Pretty sure Saleh didn't either. Pathetic!

Adding Tua takes away value

Just give the Texans all your picks
