Huge week for Deion Sanders. First, CU landed Jordan Seaton, the nation’s top OT prospect. Then, CU got 4 FBS transfer O-linemen. Buffs need major help in the trenches to take the next big step, and this is exactly what they need:

quote:

On Saturday, four starting linemen from FBS teams committed to the Buffaloes, as well as a veteran receiver.

Center Yakiri Walker (Connecticut), guards Tyler Johnson (Houston) and Justin Mayers (UTEP) and tackle Kahlil Benson (Indiana) all announced their verbal commitments to CU. Also, former North Carolina State receiver Terrell Timmons Jr. announced his decision to transfer to the Buffs.

According to Pro Football Focus, the four linemen who committed Saturday have given up a combined eight sacks on 2,962 pass blocking snaps over the past two seasons. They’ve also got a combined 76 career starts at the FBS level.

Seeaton was an OSU lean which is disappointing....maybe we will see him next year when he inevitably hits the portal.

Deion needed a win. This is definitely good for them.

Power-I formation coming back? lol

Deion may have an old cowboy playbook laying around. If Norv Turner is still alive he may become a consultant.

If they are lucky and stay healthy, they may be a decent OL, but still have zero depth.

He is losing a ton of his best players this year, but will again be the issue of depth and overall talent.

Transfers aren’t looking to be backups or they are look in to be paid. Both are problematic.

They may be bowl eligible next year but that is going to be about it.

Big 12 should be an easier conference.

PAC 10 actually had some decent play this year

Is Shedeur coming back?

Seems like bad parenting if he is.

A bunch of G5 guys from teams that combined to go 13-35. Not sure this moves the needle to “substantially improving” that atrocious line.

An Oline made from portal players is destined for failure.
