You didn't have to click on the thread moron. Did your hand slip? I even put "deadspin" in the title to help your little brain out. You still came in here triggered as frick anyways. Pathetic.

I thought it was interesting that Chris Long basically outed Ryen R. as a Trump supporting conservative on a recent NFL recap and nobody made a huge deal about it. It was very casual and friendly and matter of fact - wasn't like Chris was angry about it and Ryen just kind of agreed and they moved on.

But I thought sure that Deadspin krewe would be coming hard for Ryen R. after that. Was also suprised that the Ringer didn't cut that bit out.

I didnt click on the link and therefore didnt give them any money. I didnt even read the shite you worked so diligently to help disseminate.

You went to a radical site, clicked on an article, read it, copied and pasted different parts of the article to another website, and (for free) decided to do your damndest to drive traffic and revenue to that site. And im pathetic....ok lol.

You literally are doing more work for Deadspin than some actual employees for Deadspin.

I hate deadspin more than I hate the NBA.

Athletes, black or white, are entertainment. When they stop being entertaining, people stop watching.

As the NBA continues to find out.

The worst one is the ones that the woke crowd (Magary, Ley, etc) who LEFT deadspin started. It makes Deadspin look like 2004 MTV by comparison. They are seriously radical left.

Thats not at all what happened lol. You need to listen to Russilo more. Nobody made a huge deal about it? That was the whole point of the Chris Long joke. He was referencing something that had already happened when people very much did make a huge deal about it. Including Deadspin.

Keep up, buttercup.

MacMullan has never been anyone’s “property.” The Boston Globe didn’t own her when she worked there, and neither does ESPN right now. She didn’t get drafted out of college, she’s been free to make her own career decisions.

I like how they put property in quotes, but not own.

No the Boston Globe or ESPN did/do not "own" her, nor do the Nets "own" Kyrie.
THat doesn't mean they don't have a say in if he/she works there. You do what your boss says or suffer the consequences, simple as that. That's what the term "own" or "property" means here. It's something literally every American that isn't self employed or owns a business deals with as an employee.

Go play overseas if you want the right to choose where you go play comign out of college/highschool. You're free to do that. The NBA has certain rules. If you don't like them, then don't join.
Who the frick are you to tell your bosses how to run their business? You don't like where you were drafted, don't play. Or, suck it up and play for 3 years and leave and go wherever you want. That's the rules.
I don't like the fact that my company wants people to be in their role for at least 3 years before getting promoted. I'm free to leave if i want to, but what i can't do is not show up for work b/c i don't like the rule and expect to still have a job whenever the frick i feel like coming back.

They’re just another arm of the DNC propaganda machine, when they’re supposed to be sports writers

Professional sports are a form of entertainment. They don't manufacture, research or grow jack shite. Therefore, they aren't technically necessary. So when a certain sport stops being entertaining maybe it can shut down and then they can all go work together doing night shifts at the UPS docks.

They aren’t properly.

But you need to articulate the NBA draft better

The NBA is an company

They get to choose how people are assigned within the company.

He is free to work elsewhere. But he can’t dictate how the company works. He can advocate but it’s not happening.

NOW, is any of this fricking relevant now that he PICKED A TEAM IN FREE AGENCY and still acts like this?

No

But Jackie needs to be smarter.

You need to relax. Your opinion isn't more important than others nor am I obligated to post based on your personally pre-approved websites. You're not the only person capable of discerning which sources are good/bad. Everyone here knows deadspin just as well as you and if they want to click, that's not your business.

Also, I posted the meat of the article so people wouldn't have to click on the link anyways and the link serves more as a proof of source than an invitation to visit the site. Now hit the showers.

Do any real sports fans actually read Deadspin/Gawker? Or are they just kept afloat by the other blogs/parent company?

This...people need to understand the franchise model.

Think of teams as branches. You might work for Ernst and Young but if they assign you to Denver over Phoenix you dont get to say no, and continue working for Ernst and Young. You can try and get a job at PWC though.

They’re the go to site for sports news for the guy that wears his Lakers jersey only when attending Joe Biden rallies.
