As I've said before though, I fear that either Te'o or the friend or both could have a "tell all, come clean" interview and we still would not know the real story.
They can control the narrative, as the real hard hard evidence (phone records) will never see the light of day.

I could end up being wrong somehow, but I am just sitting here feeling bad about how insane this guy T'eo seems to be. If you read that SI article and think about all the shite he was saying, and come to find out she wasn't real?

Oh yea. The fake death makes no sense in any scenario. It's where the "hoax" unravels because its so fricking stupid.
This leads me to believe that Te'o is a dumbass and thought "It's soooooo crazy it just might work"
As I've said earlier, Te'o will come out of this one of three ways:
1. He is gay
2. He is the dumbest person on earth
3. He is a scumbag liar
And in all 3 of those cases he has some SERIOUS mental and emotional issues.

I thought about it earlier and theorized that he or whoever thought all of this up wanted to end the big lie and figured killing off the fake GF on the day his grandmother died would work because he wouldn't have to conjure up fake emotions.

I refuse to believe he is this dumb. If what ND and Te'o are saying is true then I think Manti should have somebody walking around with him making sure he doesn't aimlessly walk into walls or drown in his soup bowl.

He isn't gay. He might have been had for like a week long period thinking he was hooking up some CA snatch during his trip to Stanford and his friends got him good, but then He and his buddy decided to troll everyone and it grew and grew.

Perhaps this is where Te'o is a legit dumbass, because if I was perpetuating this hoax no fricking way in hell I'd draw an absurd amount of attention to it by spectacularly killing her on a gameday within hours of his grandmother dying. That is, if he truly just wanted to get out and wanted it to go away.
This leads me to believe he didn't want it to just go away. He wanted to use the fake gf death for pub. He was just a dumbass who thought that no one would catch on.
