So this was AFTER the BCSNCG when ND and Te'o clearly knew the story was fake and they let this fundraising go on and even videoed the guy and posted it? Knowing the death was a hoax?

This is why I think ND didn't even know about this whole thing until very recently. No way they are THAT stupid.

They've certainly got some pretty bad egg on their face, PR-wise, but I'm not sure how you can get to the point of finding that this is some sort of NCAA issue with them.

Yeah...this is an important contradiction. The South Bend article says he met her at Stanford in 2009. While Te'o says here in the SI transcript that they met at a USC game through his cousin.

It is just embarrassing and bizarre for alot of people unless another shoe drops.
