That's what they get for continuously expanding the playoffs. I usually watch regardless who is in it. It's not like anything better is on.

It’s going to be hard to beat the last three World Series in low ratings.

Phillies fans got to see NL East Championship celebration and NL Pennant celebrarion in person this year. Pretty cool really.

Well this is over. Texas vs. Zona is gonna be a total rating fail. One of the lowest ever.

So?

frick a ratings idk why anyone cares. Watch what you want to don’t watch what you don’t want. Why would anyone care that not as many people are watching something?

This is a great matchup. Contrasting styles, big time position players, pitchers that are great looking to introduce themselves to the rest of the world two big cities that are going to pack their stadiums out. Can’t wait to watch

Damn what a gag job by the Phillies. Philadelphia based MLB teams are 0-2 in Game 7s all time. The A’s in 1931 and now the Phillies tonight.

This is going to be a fun series. Tons of young talent on both sides.

Who gives a shite about ratings or big markets

Yeah, quietly, MLB is not thrilled with this matchup. Both teams have only marginal interest in their OWN markets, and very little nationally.

Good for the folks in Texas and Arizona. But the rest of the country likely won’t be watching

And just imagine how Brewers fans must feel. Every, and I mean every, team they’ve faced in their playoff history has gone on to either win the pennant or World Series.

These teams took radically different paths from 100 losses to the World Series. Rangers spent a half billion on free agents, Dbacks did it organically with a roster of mostly home growns that got hot at the right time.

Their highest paid player is....Madison Bumgarner who they released months ago

On the current roster it's Marte at 11 million.

frick the Braves for being softer than baby shite…

The Braves aren't soft but the Phillies are in their heads when it comes to October. IDK how they change that but I think after what happened in the DS this rivalry is about to amp up ten-fold.

So how do you explain the past three World Series being the three lowest rated series in history?
