They showed her CC and Biffle's CC talking during the last caution. Seems like they had made a deal

I agree. She would have rather guaranteed a top 10 and a chance at top 5, than jump out of line and have noone go with her and drop to 15th.

As a fan of the sport, I wish she would have jumped out, but you can't blame her really for taking a top 10.

Perhaps her crew chief tried to make a deal with the Earnhardt crew but they refused to dance. I'm sure she would have gone for it if she had struck a deal with them.

Yup, that's a possibility, too. You better be damn sure you've got some friends before you step out of the draft. Otherwise it's better just to hang tight.

I just think it's a shame because her car seemed like it was TUNED THE frick UP and ready to go.

Rocketman

He was about 27th with 50 to go and worked up to a top five. Damn strong.

Why not just make it the Daytona 50? 20 laps instead of 200. They only seem to race in the last 20 laps or so anyways.

Did you watch the fricking race?

Did u just watch the final laps? There were multiple chances to get in front of Johnson. If she had Johnson pushing her down low she would have easily been leading on that caution.

I was listening to Biffle's radio and chief told him "you're on your own. We have no deal." Your only shot is turn three." Then spotter said there was a wreck. Was chaotic on the radio. They were talking about what a small window there is to pass.

Jimmy prob tore his front end up in purpose for post race inspection.
Back when I followed NASCAR very closely, NASCAR had begun asking drivers to do that stuff for TV and crowd pleasing purposes. Old school drivers wouldn't do it because of the risk of blowing an engine. Nowadays, the big teams end up rebuilding the engines after nearly every race, so i guess it's not that big a deal, but it still looks juvenile, IMO.

Plain and simple she had the fastest car of the week. Easily. And she drove it slow to not wreck. I'd say 40 other drivers win with that car today. Nothing going on. No passing. Best car suppose to win.
