Just admit that you hate her and will disregard anything to bad mouth her.

I would consider winning the pole, leading for five laps and a top 10 finish a success for Danica. The icing on the cake would be a Daytona Neilsen rating's record which would be credited to her. As Richard Petty said, Danica has the potential put NASCAR on the front pages newspapers, and not just the sports section either.

And Johnson would have dropped inside of her, miring her in the middle and sending her straight to the back. The same thing that happened to Jeff Gordon.

? When they were 2 wide with Johnson low she had 3 car lengths to get in front on him. She didn't. Johnson got the push later after she had a ton of chances and they passed her. They. Meaning multiple. Meaning everyone on the bottom after the fact. Bottom is always the way to go at Daytona.

The last person I remember was Jr when biffle won the pole and Jr won the duel but biffle did an engine change and Jr started up front and won

I heard pole sitters won the 500 17% of the time. Not sure how many 500s have been run though.

Not saying either is right but a family member was small owner of Darrell waltrip and western auto. They texted me with 20 left and it said the same thing I said to my wife. Danica just lost her chance to get in front Johnson. It was like Johnson was inviting her.

the speed she would have lost dropping out of line coupled with the momentum JJ had would have carried him right past her. He would have had to slam on brakes to keep from running over her or he would have gone around her....if you know anything about racing or Jimmie Johnson, you know he wouldn't slow down for her.

Plain and simple she had the fastest car of the week. Easily. And she drove it slow to not wreck. I'd say 40 other drivers win with that car today. Nothing going on. No passing. Best car suppose to win.
she had a fast car but wasn't fast in big pack racing

Don't know a lot about NASCAR here. But I noticed toward the end of the race that nobody tried to take the inside track.

If nobody is doing it, I assume there's a reason, but what was the strategy the entire field sitting back and waiting for something to happen?

No, that was perfect timing, Martin just couldn't get to the back of him to give him a shove after turn 4

Yea, I would say good timing, they were just a little too far back to do it with just 2 cars. They had one heck of a head of steam, but it peter'ed out by the time they reached Jimmie.

And at all the people talking about Danica. She had a good day for a woman driver that will quote, "never win a race." She had a solid finish. There was no way for her to cut that JR head of steam off, and going lower sooner, she would have either a] got hung out to dry, or b] caused the big one with JR, which everyone would bitch about.

You guys need to get over her. She is marketable, and will be around as long as she is. I think she is good for the sport, even if she is just getting attention for being born with a vagina.

Do you watch NASCAR? How many times does the best car actually win a race? Restrictor plate races are a crap shoot, mile and 1/2's are usually won by who conserves fuel the best.

Holy shite you make yourself look like a bigger fricking moron by each post.

So a car owner is texting you during the race to tell you when Danica fricked up. Did the car owner text you about the other 42 drivers that didn't finish in front of Jimmie too?

I had a feeling when Junior didn't drop down in front of Jimmie he blew his chance to win, it kept him blocked in too long at the end.
