Dave Portnoy and Barstool as a whole will no longer appear on FOX Big Noon Kickoff

Barstool has a couple good people there but I NEVER understood the appeal of Dave Portnoy. He’s claiming the Ohio State is behind this move

I’m not sure “consorting against him,” but I tend to believe this with how complimentary he’s been on the way out to Fox and the show in general.
People and brands are soft as baby shite now days, I find this totally believable that a pussy like Ryan Day and THE Ohio State university would do something like this.
I don’t think everything Portnoy does is funny or agree with everything he says, but his willingness to tell (at least his version) of the truth is refreshing in the corporatized world we live in.

Barstool is a bunch of children getting to talk about sports. They have their own lane and need to stay in it.

I said this when he was announced to be on the show in the first place.
Having a Michigan booster, actively working and using millions of his funds to try and beat Ohio State annually, on a show that was going to air in Columbus at least 1/4 of the games a year, was never going to make the brass at OSU happy.
I have zero problem with Charles Woodson being on the show. Portnoy just didn't add anything from a football perspective and was solely there to antagonize OSU.
