Yes, great point

The SB actually led to the HR too

Is Ken Giles our closer over the next 3-5 games? I just posted about not making panic moves but at the same time, he's given ups runs in all but 1 of his post season outings (and he had a 6 run lead at that point).

He should be our one inning high leverage guy IMO. I mean he took down 2-3-4 in order in the bottom of the 9th in a tie game. Did the same in game 4 vs Boston. Coming back out for 6 outs is too much for him in the post season.

Legit great point about Lance as a great relief option except for his brittle physical nature.

If Hinch believed Lance was durable, he'd be more valuable in relief. Instead, he thinks enough of him to line the kid up to pitch Games 3 and 7.

Idk how you can have much faith in him to lock down a 1 run lead. But then again, who else can you trust?

This is how much faith I have in him:

Right before the 9th, I texted my brother, "Thank god we got 2 runs because I'm feeling a Puig HR coming up". Sure enough....

You can literally have NO FAITH he can lock down a 1 run lead, but we have no one else. We just have to roll with these bats and give him 4 run leads to work with.

As community leader, set the DAT meeting spot prior to first pitch at MMP.

A 10 run explosion where we don't need a ton of high leverage outs in these next two games would be nice but that's probably too much to ask

Ludlow’s brother tweeted this

True story: I emailed my brother @jluhnow, Astros GM, today worried about Springer. His reply: “Springer will homer tonight.” #Astros

That's true. Its probably time to limit him to 1 inning stints. I think back to some of his struggles in the post season and it's been on the back end of trying to get more than 3 innings out of him or asking him to clean up an inning in progress.

Aren't we due? We had 14 hits tonight, if this was June that would have easily been 12/13 runs IMO. I think our bats are getting relaxed and slowly these sticks are coming out from our asses. Reddick is now slowly starting to chop some hits, and that HR might be the perfect kick start to Marwin's bat, then you have Altuve who I expect to be nuts in these home games, obviously Springer is alive and kicking.

Lance is so emotional he scares me in relief. As a starter he has time to calm down if he gives up a hit or a run. Somebody said something about him closing. I think if he's closing and the first batter gets on he would collapse.

Lance has been amazing in relief. You new around here? Houston would have won in NYY if Lance stayed in after the Judge HR. Untouchables after that hit.

We’ll see but seems like game 4 against Alex Wood would be the likely candidate for an offensive explosion. Yu has a very good history at MMP. But thankfully he’s no stranger to anybody in this lineup so hopefully we can use that to our advantage

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and guess that Bmac isn't gonna post in the DAT tonight.

I would have liked to grab a beer with you baws at game 7. But it was a last minute trip to Htown. I got into town at 530, dumped my shite at the hotel, grabbed an uber and headed to the park. Finally got to our seats during the 2nd batter of the game and never left that seat.

I'm not new just don't post much. And yes he has been great in relief. It still scares the shite out of me. If he can come in with a clean inning in middle relief I'm all for it. Give us 4 innings. But somebody said something about him being the closer and I think that would be a terrible idea

Doesn't McCullers have a longer than normal warm up routine?
