More than 4 hits and mission should be accomplished.

Verlander owned LA in his one start in August. That HR was from Granderson. Good feeling about this.

Just got home from game 1...Kershaw was filthy tonight. Verlander better bring it or it's going to be a short series. I'll be there to watch again....but I'll be looking for Miss Upton!

I remember that.... And dodgers players have given multiple interviews to various media outlets tonight...... That's the LA curse.

I think I would enjoy an Astros win.

I think it’s a must win. I hate that it is already but I can’t see us losing both games with our two best pitchers and winning 4 games after that.

If JV can pitch like he did in the ALCS twice this series (wins included), he could retire next month and would still have earned a spot on the Mount Rushmore of Houston sports
Easier said than done though
let’s make things interesting and come back to the H tied 1-1 how bout it?
Will be very deflating if the offense comes out and continues to be non existent

That’s always been the realistic goal.

I think this was from a time when I felt like I was the only true believer that the deal could possibly get done. Please JV, bring us home 1-1.

It's not a must win... but we had better fricking win.

Kind of how I feel. Not a must, but it's pretty important to get a win tonight.
I know this goes against all sort of conventional wisdom, but is there any merit to have not pitched Dallas last night, pitched another guy and try and win, then pitched Dallas/Verlander 2/3 and then potentially 6/7. I know you want your best pitchers going early, but then you are avoiding direct throwing against Kershaw

Problem is your other two guys that are expected to start this series both pitched pretty heavily in game 7 vs. NY.
Otherwise, I could see some merit to that idea.

Yes. If McCullers doesn't pitch game 7 I wouldn't have been opposed to throwing him last night. But we need Jabroni available in relief and he was the only realistic option outside Keuchel

Everyone relax. This team is about to do something incredible. Believe.

I believe I would put deer in the headlights Springer batting 7. That’s what I believe.

It was kinda nice to be honest.
