I say the Astros bring back Gattis. Pay him $5 million this year... his only job, Beat the ever loving shite out of Carlos Beltran on June 2.

And to charge the mound every single time fiers pitches against us

Also it just hit me. Supposedly the LLC had little knowledge+ was against it.

So was this the players “doing things their way”? Little did we know that ryno was the true insider here

The world needs villains. I've been the villain on here for years. I embrace it. The truth hurts and there is nothing to be sad about here. The organization got better with these moves. Don't be triggered by loser fans tainting and crying. It makes the victory all the sweeter. Do it your way. Amen.

Yep.

I'll still wear my 2017 WS Champions shirt without hesitation.

Also thought it was interesting that this lasted basically 1 year.

So all the Yankee bitching was BS, they knew Astros were guilty in the past and needed an excuse for getting that arse beat this year?

I’ve seen a lot of the NY media already asking tons of questions regarding Beltran. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s next

Carlos Beltran was on the Yankees staff last year. Don’t think for a second they weren’t doing the same thing. It’s hilarious to see Yankees fans on social media looking down on other people from their moral high ground like the New York Yankees would never bend the rules.

I would die

He was also on the Yankees the year before the Astros, and that initial Athletic report said below

quote:

One was a hitter who was struggling at the plate and had benefited from sign stealing with a previous team, according to club sources; another was a coach who wanted to help. They were said to strongly believe that some opposing teams were already up to no good.

We know the hitter/coach are Beltran and Cora from the MLB report. Any Yankee fan who thinks they weren’t doing the same thing is full of shite. The media crying for Girardi when they were supposedly doing the same thing under him can suck it.

Either that or it was the like 2 months he was on the Rangers, which I seriously doubt

He won’t survive the week.

They will make him step away from baseball. They will not allow this to taint both of the cash cows. Having the Red Sox tainted is bad enough. They won’t let the Yankees get too hurt by this.

Yeah that makes it look like they were guilty as hell too. They need to be part of the investigation and join in on the penalties.

Cora can't be too happy, he got fired because of Beltran and now Beltran is a MLB manager.

According to MLB sources a working list of candidates the #Astros are considering in their process to replace manager AJ Hinch includes Joe Espada, Jeff Banister, Dusty Baker, Buck Showalter, Bruce Bochy, Will Venable (Cubs 3rd base coach) & Raúl Ibañez

I’d welcome bannister with open arms. Breath of fresh air after aj hunch. I feel quite sure locker room tvs would be switched from msnbc to fox news or fox business

He’d put umpires asses in the jackpot

Bochy is definitely intriguing but didn’t he just retire?

Yeah, Alex Cora basically gave a little wink wink that he knew that Beltran was helping the Yankees steal signs in a similar manner that they did with the Astros.

I don’t know if the Yankees will get caught, but my suspicions have been heightened that they were doing the same thing.

Meh I see what you mean but idk how our players would receive Banister

I still stand by what I said earlier. It’s going to be a disaster of epic proportions if we don’t hire a GM first and then let him make every ensuing move (namely picking the manager)

Eta: mostly if we make an outside hire. If we promote Espada that’s one thing

Yup. There’s some intriguing names on that list aside from Baker or Showalter but this process is all wrong regardless
