Sir this is the DAT. We don't need all these details. Just tell us you had discomfort. This covers anything from gas to death.

Hope they can keep you comfortable and get you rehabbing soon.

Haven’t watched much baseball, don’t plan to watch any of the World Series.

My sources indicate there has been a lot of study going into the back of many baseball cards by Baggy and Reggie.

I loved The Man in the High Castle although the final season was a bit disjointed.

So in some baseball talk, we've already "parted ways with" a coach and hired his replacement. Seems Cintron is going to live to ride another year. Great. Can't wait.

In other news, Cashman is still melting

quote:

"I hate the 15-year thing because it completely forgets and discounts that some other organization cheated us when we were all the way in the end," Cashman told MLB Network's "High Heat." "If you knew what was going on, I don't think they would be advancing ... I think we would've been advancing.

"I hate that 15-year thing because I don't think it accurately reflects history. But regardless, we're proud to be where we are now."

According to The Athletic’s report, Beltran told the Astros that their sign stealing methods were “behind the times,” which of course means his sign stealing involvement didn’t begin in Houston. Not coincidentally, Beltran played for the Yankees from 2014 through 2016, then spent the last couple months of 2016 with the Rangers before coming to Houston. He returned to the Yankees as a special adviser shortly after retiring.

The report noted that the Yankees had been using their video replay room to decode signs as far back as 2015. Other teams were known to have been doing the same thing. The Yankees and Red Sox had a dust-up about sign stealing as well, so it’s not hard to fathom that it was happening there too.

quote:

As far back as 2015, the Yankees used the video replay room to learn other teams’ sign sequences, multiple sources told The Athletic. Other teams likely were doing the same. Sources said the Red Sox began doing it no later than 2016.

“Oftentimes it takes a player to show up and be like ‘You f—— morons, you’re not doing this?’” said one American League executive.

Reviewing past footage before games was legal then, and remains legal today. That includes a study of sign sequences, or pitch tipping — determining if a pitcher looks or acts differently depending on the pitch he is about to throw.

But in the middle of the decade, MLB had a broad rule forbidding the use of electronic equipment in sign stealing: “No equipment may be used for the purpose of stealing signs or conveying information designed to give a Club an advantage.”

The league today says that there was some “gray area” in that rule. Information from the replay room was not communicated directly to the hitter; teams needed a runner on second base to serve as a conduit.

“I’m just telling you from a broad perspective, living it, it didn’t feel that wrong,” said one player who used the replay-room system with the Yankees as far back as 2015. “It was there for everyone, that’s all.”

Cashman can, and probably does, eat shite.

I hate how the media lets the Yanks and Dodgers off the hook for cheating. Aaron Judge could walk into a room and murder a hooker and the media would gaslight us telling us it's the best hip shot since the old west.

Hold on now…remember when they were furious that the Yankees signed Marwin and the Dodgers signed Mookie? Remember how mad the fans of those teams were about signing players from cheating teams?

Oh wait…

Cashman is such a little bitch and keeps making the same excuses for his past failures.

I have a friend who has a professional connection with one of the Astros training staff from the early 2010's through just a couple of years ago. I've had dinner with them several times.

Earlier this year, he laid this story on me:

MLB called Luhnow and notified him that they would be holding several Astros players, and entire Managerial staff accountable with lifetime bans. Luhnow calmly told them, "we need to meet in person before you do that".

Luhnow met with top execs from MLB and gave them a flash drive with a presentation and told them, "watch this, and I'll be back in 20 minutes." He left the room.

The video was a full-detailed investigation of every MLB team's sign stealing operations -- including NYY, LAD, and BOS. He had the absolute goods on half of MLB.

He came back into the room and said, "you hand out lifetime bans, that video hits the street." I'll take a back-door ban. No player suffers.

MLB negotiated to get the managers the 1 year ban.

That's why Luhnow isn't back. That's why no player received any penalty. Lunhow took the fall because he knew it would send MLB back decades with revenue loss.

Anyway, that's the story.
