Some guy. He's followed by Morosi, Nightingale and Heyman. Apparently he was first on Verlander to the Mets. But he's also been wrong at times. unrivaled photoshop skills though.

Well my people are Rumoring in Houston that with the departure of Kyle Tucker Houston will be signing Anthony Santander who bats with both hands and that Park would be perfect for Santander and it would be less money

That photoshop is a bad sign already. He cannot have that number! It belonged to the greatest player in the history of history!

Watching a team with something to prove, even in a loss, is probably better than what we witnessed last year
But there’s no denying that Chas and Jake as everyday starters is arse cheeks

Same. Still my favorite Astro ever. He was Babe Ruth as far as I was concerned.

quote:That's exactly my point - all of the homegrown talent left for their pay because Crane and his Dollar General Managers want to act like they've got no help financially when they've got a top attendance in the league for the last decade plus their own sports network. Yet they want to act like the Houston Devil Rays.
Crane is acting like a poor and won't sign anybody.

Cole is the only one I’d have kept looking back on it. Perhaps some of these guys would have performed better staying in Houston vs going to a Toronto or Minnesota, but knowing what we know that’s the only guy I regret not retaining.
Now you can argue they maybe should have dealt one or two of them knowing they weren’t keeping them

I only regret Hinch not letting him close it out in ‘19 and Baker not using Graveman for multiple innings in that 1 run loss on back to back HRs in ‘21
Astros would have 4 WS instead of 2

—-Crane’s history of contracts do not bear this out. Brought in JV twice, re-signed Yordon, experimented and lost on several duds, re-resigned Altuve.
