It will never change. SI had a shitty article as well in the past week. These people hated us even before the shitstorm. And I’ve repeatedly said on here, it’s the hypocrisy, not the criticism, that bothers me. The tanking, which teams have done and still do…bad form by Houston, but no issues with others. Osuna bad…Aroldis Chapman? Nothing to see here. Astros sign stealing bad, others found guilty? Huh? What? Nothingburger of course. 2017 players on other teams now? Nothing ever brought up. And my frequently mentioned favorite, why don’t these media twats ask these opposing players why they’re laughing and yukking it up with 2017 Astros since they’re so hated? We know why they don’t ask.

I don't think they hate us, they just know they can generate Hate clicks with low intelligence "Astros bad" content. It's now the off season, free agency isn't revved up yet. So What are they left with to generate clicks? "The Astros just won the world series and here's a reminder that orange team bad." Sells like hot cakes in New York and LA.

I’m sure the current content has a lot to with that, but i still think them believing the Astros need to know their place is part of it and it eats them up that we won’t go away. Look at the LSU/USC coaching situations and how they were handled. Brian Kelly bad, Lincoln Riley good.
Hell even the Chronicle (which I despise) puts a shitty reference on the collectible edition front page about the hometown team.
