McCullens has been groomed to be a starter from the very beginning. Doesn't mean he will end up one in the majors though.

So I'm assuming that as of now Fields will take Thatcher's place? Harris has thrown really well I'd love to keep two lefties but Thatcher is leaving a lot to be desired

Damn I fell asleep just after the Springer Catch to rob the GS and missed the last few innings. Glad we pulled the game out. We are now .500 and atop the division

BTW i'm going to the game tomorrow night and looking for someone to heckle. Do you want me to yell anything at Karter or Gattis?

Congrats to the Astros on the series. I must say I was equal parts enraged and impressed with that kid's catch behind the wall to elongate the game. (9th inning I think?)

Hard to be mad when you know the Rangers are doomed already this year with injuries. Astros threw away the entire game Saturday and tried to blow it Sunday.

McCullers seems to have a floor of dominant closer.

Speaking of floor, tell me we have fricking seen Gattis' already.

Oh, I have no grandiose delusions as to where they'll finish. It's just that they kept me watching today, just to give up too many chances in the end.

Yeah don't heckle our own guys.

It won't help them get out of their funk.

On another note, Marisnick is the fricking man!

I was joking. I'd never do this to our guys. I won't stoop to Ryno's level

Another plus from the game today
quote:

Will Harris (1-0) retired six straight batters. He struck out the side in the 12th, his 19th consecutive scoreless outing dating to August.
