The thing I will criticize our FO for is the lack of diversity in profile of players they draft, and it’s especially obvious in pitchers. They have a clear type that they hammer when it comes to the draft. It’s rare you see us target a high floor/probability back end guy like Cleveland did with Bieber (who turned out be more) or Zach Plesac.
It seems like the pitchers are monochromatic and the type we lean toward is higher risk, which has hurt the depth.
