An Astro starting pitcher has gone more than 5 innings ONCE in the last 11 games (Wesneski went 7 in SF)
Also--excluding the one game where King was the opener, Astro starters have given up at least 2 runs in 20 straight games
The last "shut down" game by a starter was Brown going 7 shutout innings vs the White Sox on 7/25
In the last 21 games, the Astros have had only 4 "quality starts" (RIP Framber)...and 2 of those were the bare minimum 6 IP, 3 ER.
Yeah, we probably needed another arm at the deadline...
