’d like to make a run at Kwan for the simple fact that we’d have one less retard in the lineup and control for a couple of years.

Hes like Uncle Mike's clone. Probably more patient and less power but Unc knew bow to control an AB. I miss that.

What I want is Correa and Kwan. Don't know why the Indians are even shopping Kwan with 2.5 years of control, but he'd be a great add to bat leadoff in front of Pena and Tuve.

Correa has control through 2029 and potentially 2032 via team options, he wants to come back... only problem is salary. Astros have some leverage if he won't waive his no-trade for other teams, but the Twins don't have to make a move and don't have to eat any salary.

What's gonna happen is a move for Jason Heyward and Dylan Cease for entirely too high of a price.

Javi got into the 4th but lost control. Struck out the first guy then ran a full count followed by a 4 pitch walk. 33 strikes on 64 pitches tonight.

Kwan is a left fielder. Since Altuve is slotted for left field long-term, there is no motivation to trade for a controllable left fielder.

Speaking of uncle Mike, I saw fan jerseys at the game today—Brantley, Bregman, Tucker, Verlander, Springer…it was kind of sad.

I’d also be fine with dealing Dubon to someone. Maybe Willi Castro? Package him up with Chas

Astros Talked With Mets About Jeff McNeil, Brett Baty, Ronny Mauricio

I watched a Baty play all 4 years of high school. Absolutely pulling for him. Not sure if he is eSock level, but he could be a good get.

Do we want to start a new thread tomorrow even though it’s an off day since we are anticipating a bunch of conversation? The big Cluckster will probably be a jerk and anchor us

Man I wish the Rays were shopping Josh Lowe. He’s very good

Jeremy Peña, the Astros' shortstop, is flying to Boston with the team tomorrow after completing his rehab assignment with the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, the Astros' Triple-A affiliate. He is expected to rejoin the Astros for their series against the Boston Red Sox.

Want : The reincarnation of JR Richards to walk into Daikan park and declare himself ready to go, Correa (plus 75% of his salary) in exchange for LMJ, Chas, and any one #4-10 prospect from the Astros farm.

Expect: Verlander for Diaz, Abreu, Myers, and Javier.
