Until the trade deadline has passed, there's no point in trying to figure out who is best set up for the playoffs. As of right now though, the Yankees have a slight edge on the Astros.

I hate (love) Verlander and right now he is a difference maker. But i think in a Yankees/Stros ALCS he would need to pitch 3x in order to make a huge difference. The Yankees lineup with DJ is just deep and the bullpen has several arms this year who have proven they can shut teams down
