I agree with you except how far down you trying to move him?

.260 35HR 100RBI needs to be in the middle. Just because he is capable of more doesn't mean he needs to be batting 6th(hypothetically)

My Lineup would be

Springer
Altuve
Brantley
Bregman
Alvarez
Correa
Yuli
JJ
Catcher

I’m prob one of the biggest Hinch supporters that posts in here and I’ve been fuming since last night

Be lucky to hold this one with this shite pen. I'm not expecting Pressly to be sharp after a week off.

5.5 games feels way different than 7.5. 8.5 may have been the end

It would have been 9.5 with a sweep. That loss last night was like 2 losses.

I could easily see that lineup. When you know guys are playing to their potential there are a ton of combinations Hinch could use. And I like the lefties split up like you have them. If yordan keeps doing what he’s doing I would do this.

Springer
Brantley
Altuve
Alvarez
Bregman
Correa
Gurriel
Reddick
Chirinos

Again, it depends on what Alvarez is doing.

260 and getting on base like he does isn’t much of an issue IMO. Especially with the guys hitting around him.

yeah doesnt he have one of the top on base percentages in the league? I agree he needs to be at .275 at least but he gets on and hits for power. Its fine.

His three decisions in the 9th were inexcusable for any major league level manager. I could buy the first one based on miley’s Success to that point but the two after we’re even worse.

I'm expecting Yed to experience an extended slump. It's already started to some degree. He's striking out at like 29% with a BAbip well over .400. Those sort of numbers have a way of correcting themselves.

Well these last two games haven’t been good for him at all. 0-5 last night and 0-3 today with 2 strikeouts.

And that last strikeout was on a changeup at the bottom of the zone. He took it because he didn’t want to strikeout again on a pitch down in the dirt, which has been his Achilles so far.

If neither team makes any significant moves, who do you like in an ALCS matchup today? I think it could be a hell of a series with those 2 lineups

Yankees have a huge advantage in the Pen. The Astros have the 2 best starters but that won't make that much of a difference. Lineups advantage to NYY.

Honestly the Yankees, I like the depth of
Our line up this year doesn't have any glaring holes (although Sanchez has sucked recently) and the pitching staff is better than the last two years. Now Tanaka, German, and Paxton all have the stuff to be a #1 but sometimes pitch like #4/5 which Verlander rarely ever gives. However, I certainly prefer our bullpen and feel this Yankees team is special.

Oh and as anyone who knows I've always put my Yankee bias aside at times and even acknowledged last year the Red Sox were the best team in baseball.

Would have been nice to have Pressly do that last night in the 9th. We’d be looking at a sweep. But #Notmymanager happened.
