What a shite way to go into the ASB by going 1-5 @ home vs teams below .500. Then of course we get Seattle as our first series back

Who knows what the roster will look like with all of the injuries

I hope we can get healthy.

The little bit of beginners luck we had with all of these guys has run its course

That’s what it will take. Seattle and Texas seem to have more guys available and are playing better.

I don’t think it was luck. Probably a combination of our pitching came through and other teams started slow. But we swept the Dodgers who everyone wanted to give the trophy to after the first week.

Listening to local radio. They just announced Frey was getting close to 1 million I’m very shocked he got that much. I’m a Frey homer being he’s from Southwest LA but still very surprised he got that much money.

Seems like Meyers may not be done for the year

I can’t watch Cooper Hummel / Trammell / Short for much longer. Even Chas coming back would be a huge relief.

I would take a Melton/Chas platoon right now in CF in a heartbeat. It sounded like Melton was back to running/hitting at the facility

The FO certainly does not agree with MLB.com rankings. Only 3 top 250 prospects drafted in 20 rounds

I know he’s not an OF and he’s banged up but what is the risk of going after Lemahieu and playing him at 2B? He had a good June/first week of July and has to be a better option at the plate than any of those three. Right?

I would be fine with it for a few weeks but I think ideally they will trade for someone better than that, and it sounded like the whole reason he was released was because he was unhappy being benched

I think they’re also committed to keeping Matthews up and he should be playing everyday if he’s in the majors. I don’t agree with that, I think he should be in AAA, but I don’t see them reversing course after 2 bad games

If they can trade for someone better I’m all for it, but I’m not confident they will. I fear they are banking on Yed coming back and possibly even Jake. I have serious doubts about Yed and even more about Jake.

Encouraging numbers. Need him and the others back so we don’t have to watch Latte suit up anymore as a starter
