Way to get over Hader. Another nice defensive play

It’s so satisfying winning these close games against good teams

And now, folks, we’re gonna keep the hits rolling with a special Long-Distance Dedication straight from the heart of Philly, where the cheesesteaks are greasy, the Liberty Bell’s cracked, to the Phillies in Houston who are apparently allergic to scoring runs! This one comes from a fan who’s so fed up, he’s probably chucking soft pretzels at his TV screen. Sal from South Philly, a guy who bleeds red but is also seeing it after the Phillies got shut out two nights in a row by the terrific Astros. Oh, Sal, we feel your pain… or at least, we’re trying not to laugh too hard.
Sal writes: “Dear Casey, I’m dedicating this one to my wretched Phillies, who’ve decided to turn some Sushi joint into a daily bullpen session for Astros’ pitchers. Two games, no runs, and enough choke jobs to make me think they’re auditioning for a Heimlich maneuver class. Here’s to you, Phils, for reminding us that hope is just a setup for heartbreak. Play Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day, and don't give me any crap about being this mad despite having a great football team. Ponderous, Casey. Ponderous!"
So, from Sal, who’s probably drowning his sorrows in a Yuengling as we speak, to the Phillies, who’ve forgotten what scoring a run looks like, here’s "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day, with all the sarcasm and disappointment South Philly can muster. Keep swinging, boys… maybe you’ll hit something other than air next time. On with the countdown!

Now wait, they just showed Hader took the record for most consecutive saves to start a season with 21. What is this one from last night then?

Iirc he blew his first chance against the Blue Jays and then converted the 29 straight

Honestly it's kind of tough to explain how this team is winning

Great pitching, good defense, and timely hitting = wins

We're 2.5 games back if the Tigers for best record in the majors. How'd we get here?
