Mushrove is incapable of hitting the corners with 2 strikes. It's so perplexing how good he can be until he gets to 2 strikes then he's either way off the zone or meatball

Musgrove has the skill to be an excellent pitcher. But he currently lacks the ability to pitch to hitter's weaknesses. He only knows how to pitch to his own strengths... which the major league hitters expect and find success.

He may need to challenge hitters more with the fastball when he gets ahead. They aren't chasing the off speed pitches after strike 2
