Baws. I'm on the 6th row. Musgrove is a 4a. Pitcher. He has no put pitch. We are hitting bullets off felix. The fans here are scared of us.

I'm having a great time with these nice fans.

Just got back from a party. I see Musgrove continues to suck as expected. I hope he doesn't murder his trade value.

Can't wait til we get our starting rotation healthy again. That way we can have Keuchel, McCullers, Morton, Fiers, and McCugh, with Peacock in relief, and maybe Paulino if they don't send him back down. As long as Musgrove is sent back down when everyone is healthy.

Amen,

Just curious. How many times did Musgrove fail to put away a guy with two strikes tonight? Or was he so over-the-plate that it didn't matter?

A good bit. That's his biggest problem. With 2 strikes, he needs a nasty, filthy pitch he can rely upon to put hitters away. He just doesn't have that. Instead, he throws meatballs across the middle of the plate, and good hitters knock the hell out of the ball. He just doesn't have a strike out pitch.

Another night, another outing where our starting pitcher can;t go 6 innings.

It's obvious. He has to pitch at an arm angle that hurts to give that slider bite. He's a No. 4 starter as the absolute best case scenario. Luhnow needs to trade him asap.

Oh, nah. You have valid points and are a solid poster. That's just how I see you watching Astro games.

I agree. Hoohoo is the absolute savage breaking-shite-and-throwing-more-shite DAT fan. I love it.

I made it through the Pujols/Lidge bomb, getting swept in the World Series, the 100 loss years and the 2015 playoff meltdown without breaking anything. I think I've weathered the worst of the storms. If a few profanities on an anonymous message board is the worst of my fan melts, I'll live with it.

I'm pretty sure that's what message boards are for:

1) Intelligent Discussion
2) Trolling
3) Ranting/Melting*

* You lie. You've thrown and broken something over the Astros, and that's okay. In fact, it's normal.

I almost certainly melt harder over LSU football games. 13/14 games vs 162 and 1 game per week vs 6 or 7.

When they lost to Arkansas in 07 and looked to be out of the championship picture, I just got in the car and went home from the watch party I was at. Totally forgot my dad had ridden there with me so I had to go back for him.

As for this game, 2nd inning Hoyt did what 2nd inning Hoyt does. That was ugly.

All is well folks. I will be there tomorrow night and maybe Sunday. Stros will win. I did not expect much coming against Felix tonight. Musgrove is hot shite. LMJ gonna shut it down tomorrow

The bright side is that Musgrove and Hoyt are not likely to be on our playoff roster It is what is it.

Joe's ERA is up to 6.01. He's a mess, so I hope they send him to AAA now. Keep Martes up and see if he can keep growing until the big trade.

Yeah I don't think Musgrove is gonna be around much longer unless he posts a few surprising quality starts in the next few weeks.

Hoyt got off to a strong start and looked to fit in well in the bullpen but these last few weeks he's been hittable to say the least.
