Eh. There was a time where Gammons was all over Houston for tearing it down for accusing of tanking and calling out ownership for rebuilding was the wrong way to do it.

Sure but most journalists did jump on the Astros back then.

Kind of feels like we're swapping one turd for another in this case. Neither one is very good.

In prospect news, Yordan Alverez was promoted to Buies Creek.

In news the Angels released Doug Fister from AAA the other day and he'll now be starting for the Red Sox tomorrow.

Man, I really think Papierski is going to end up being a steal in the 9th round. He has everything you could want to be a big league catcher who can switch hit.

So we've signed 7 of 12 picks from the 1st 10 rounds, and the only guy we might have trouble signing is the 10th rounder. We're about $375k total under slot at the moment, so we can give Bukauskas and Joe Perez a little extra

Astros 7-6 since McCullers joined Keuchel/Morton on DL. In that time, rotation is 7-3, 3.60 ERA. AL West lead 13 games to 12.5. @Astros

This team to a good job to overcome some real adversity. Hopefully it serves us well down the stretch

I agree with you big league. My only reservation on this I thought the same thing about Micah Gibbs.

It's so funny seeing college baseball fans react after good stretches by certain players.

I've read quite a few people saying that Hess would be able to pitch on a MLB club RIGHT NOW.

Know how I know you don't know shite about Major League, professional hitters?

Dude needs to cool it and not go getting himself caught up in trade talks this year.

Although looking at some of his numbers, he's got a .449 BAbip and 33% HR/FB rate. So he's definitely due to come back to Earth. I'd love to see a legit 1B prospect develop. We've had the worst luck there in recent years. 3 top 1B prospects and all turned into flops.
