Would anyone like to extend our winning streak to 3 games?

Gotta make up for losing 2 of 4 this past weekend. It's gonna be a cold one tonight.

I don't post much in the DAT, but must say I have loved the early start times. I understand why they don't do it, but I wish the astros started home games at 6 or 6:30

Totally agree on that. Making the games faster how you can is great and all but it's a big help just starting a little earlier so most games are done by 10 p.m. local time. That's a good spot for it.

38 degrees at first pitch.

Ridiculous.

Poor Julia.

F that noise

Guessing JV might have some history pitching in the cold in Detroit though

To be fair, she complains about "the cold" when it's 60 degrees.

Somebody refresh my memory. The Twins built a new park that doesn't have a retractable roof?

I mean they were always in a Dome, I find it hard to believe MLB would sign off on a new stadium in Minn of all places that wouldn't have the option of closing the roof.

It's baffled me since the day it was built. Playing games there in April and October will always be miserable.

It really is bizarre.

The average high in Minneapolis is 41 in March, 58 in April, and 58 in October.

Well, of course Springer needs a day off

He ran hard for that shot in RC and was actually on base once last night

Chirinos mysteriously is in the lineup after carrying the team on his back and catching a rare Sunday night getaway game

I’m sure Verlander pitching has nothing to do with that. LOL
