These are not major league quality at bats.

It's crazy how much trouble they are having squaring this guy up.

Correa is stupid. Constantly gets suckered into swinging at cliche pitches.

@Chandler_Rome
Jake Odorizzi didn't throw one cutter in his last start against the Astros on April 22. He's using it liberally today — five whiffs and five called strikes.

So there you go.

Dude couldn't hit a beach ball of that edge of the plate. Constantly swinging through off speed there. Makes 0 adjustments.

Yuli was fricked over on the 2-1 but he should be ashamed of that 3-2 take.

7 consecutive pitches outside the zone, Carlos and Yuli swung at 5 of them.

If Yuli is still playing like this by Memorial Day, we're going to need a new starting first baseman.

Especially since he’s such a free swinger to begin with

JV gives up 2 hits and can’t win

The rest of our lineup can’t score while he’s still in the game

I just don’t get that approach right there. Is yuli looking for a pitch up in the zone? Is that why he swung at the 2-0 pitch off the plate that would have been ball 3? Or was he looking to drive a pitch the other way? Because if he was looking at going the other way he should have swung at the 2-1 pitch. If he was looking at a ball up he should have swung at the 2-2 pitch. It makes no sense. Commit to something and try to execute it.
