Man, Odorizzi is pitching an efficient game to contact with cutters but holy shite that makes Tyler White's "effort" tonight that much more pathetic.

Tyler White is what you get when you throw a beer league softball player into the majors.

The Astros are making this guy look like Greg Maddux.

And I'm done with Tyler White. Bring back Carlos Beltran's corpse or go rescue Chris Carter from the Mexican League.

Or bring up a Tucker.

This whole team outside of Bregman and Brantley are trying to get back to the hotel ASAP

On a positive note, there is just no possible way White hasn’t played his way off the team.

That move is imminent. I can’t see him penciled into the lineup again by Hinch. No way. Not with this performance considering his accomplishments thus far

Or go find Gattis. I forgot about him.

As frustrating as he can be with the bat at times, Carlos has been a stud defensively all year

Yeah, I mentioned that last week

Not really an option, but would seriously be more productive in that roster spot, since White doesn’t have a position either

Remember the time we didnt sign Nelson Cruz? Because Tyler White hit a walk off home run in August or something. Good times.

What an underperforming offense against average pitching at best.

Scored in one inning of the last 16.... Putrid.

I sometimes feel like Bregman and Brantley are the only ones who know the strike zone.

Very few of these balls called strikes have been strikes.

This offense succeeds through Altuve. When he’s off, expect a lot of mediocre offense from the rest of the team.

He just is not seeing the ball well right now.

Was just scrolling through team stats and was surprised by a few. Here’s how we’re ranked compared to the rest of the teams offensively:

Batting avg- 1st
HR- 6th
Rbi- 16th (not surprising )
Runs- 16th
Stolen bases- 15th
Caught stealing- 2nd (not surprising )
OBP- 5th
OPS- 3rd
Team strikeouts- 28th (most shocking to me)

Two innings we’ve stared at a fastball in the zone.

And without even starting a swing. 3-2 pitches. Why are we guessing on 3-2 pitches. At least start to swing. Both guys ended with the bat in their shoulder

There's a problem there.

The only thing worth watching the rest of the way is whether White’s spot comes up again to see if Hinch lets him bat and what he does

Nothing that adding Yordan at DH and Bregs/Altuve getting it together can’t solve

Gotta expect Chirinos to regress
